Step 1:
Gather Your Supplies
In your package, you’ll find:
- A vial of the peptide.
- Medical-grade bacteriostatic water.
- A long, larger-gauge needle and syringe (for mixing only)
Important: The needle and syringe are only for adding water to your peptides. They are NOT for injection.
Step 2:
Prepare Your Workspace and Clean Vials
- Wash your hands thoroughly.
- Wipe down your workspace with alcohol wipes or soap and water.
- Use an alcohol swab to wipe the rubber tops of both the peptide vial and the bacteriostatic water vial.
This ensures a clean and sterile process.
Step 3:
Draw 2 mL of Bacteriostatic Water
- Attach the larger needle to the syringe and remove the needle cap.
- Draw 2 mL of air into the syringe by pulling the plunger.
- Insert the needle into the bacteriostatic water vial and press the plunger to push the air in (this prevents a vacuum).
- Turn the vial upside down and slowly draw exactly 2 mL of bacteriostatic water into the syringe.
Step 4:
Add Water to the Peptide
- Insert the needle into the peptide vial at an angle, ensuring the water flows down the side of the vial (not directly onto the powder).
- Slowly press the plunger to release all 2 mL of water into the vial.
- Gently swirl the vial until the peptide powder is fully dissolved. Do not shake the vial.
Step 5:
Store Your Reconstituted Peptide
- Store the vial in the refrigerator as directed in your instructions.
- Use the peptide within the recommended timeframe to ensure potency.
Step 6:
Use a Separate Needle for Dosing
- For injections, always use a fresh, smaller needle and syringe. Dispose of the larger needle used for reconstitution properly.
- If you have any questions, consult your provider for guidance. Stay safe and follow instructions carefully.
